Questions we actually get

Forty people in three weeks. Headcount that swings. A site twenty minutes away. A tender that still needs a housing number. Those are the briefs — not “what is corporate accommodation?”

We have won a project in Sweden and need accommodation for 40 workers within three weeks — can you help?

Yes. That is a normal brief for us, not an edge case.

Three weeks is tight in some towns and workable in others. We go out to our own stock and the partner network at the same time, and come back with what can actually be ready — apartments, houses, or a mix — rather than a waiting list.

Send the site address, how you want people grouped, and how many vehicles. The earlier we have that, the more units we can hold near the same place.

Can you find accommodation within 20 minutes of our construction site?

We search from the site address, not from a city centre pin. Commute time, parking and whether a van can sit overnight are part of the brief, not an afterthought.

Twenty minutes is often realistic. When it is not — a remote site, a full town, winter roads — we say so and show the next-best ring, with the trade-off in time and cost. For larger jobs we compare more than one location before you choose.

Can OR Rent help us budget accommodation for an upcoming tender or project?

Yes. A lot of the companies we work with need a housing number before the contract is awarded.

Give us the expected location, headcount and rough period. We identify what is realistic in that market and give indicative costs you can put in the tender — not a guess copied from a hotel rate.

Our workforce will vary between 30 and 80 people during the project. How can accommodation be structured?

We do not size the whole job to the peak and leave beds empty for six months.

Typical structure: a core that stays for the length of the project, plus units we can add or release on agreed notice when commissioning, shutdowns or extra trades arrive. That only works if the mix of apartments and houses can actually flex in that town — we say so up front.

Give us the low, the high, and when you expect the swings. That is more useful than an average headcount.
